The first decade of the 21st century saw no new underground lines built and
no new underground lines built, but works are replaced and others added.
Stations include Råcksta, Högdalen. Liljeholmen.

In the first years of the 21st century extensive renovation work has been
carried out on the branches to Fruängen and Farsta of the network.
This means that older stations such as Fruängen and Blåsut have now gained art.
The below photos are Farsta and Blåsut.

An important part of our work with art in the 2000s is temporary exhibitions.
In many cases this is art created by artists who use techniques that would not
survive long-term in the tough environment of the Metro -
graphics, drawings, paintings and textiles.

You can see the temporary art in six stations.
It is replaced 1-4 times a year.
Those six stations are
Odenplan, Slussen, Fridhemsplan, Skanstull, Zinkensdamm, Gärdet.
